Moving to next story...
This wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of the following people and the Clarksdale community that welcomed us in.
Over several days in Clarksdale, Mississippi, often referred to as the birthplace of the blues, a team of filmmakers worked alongside musicians and community members to document a living narrative shaped by the Delta's sound and history.
The aim was simple: to create space for those who carry the knowledge to speak for themselves. Interviews unfolded on street corners, inside juke joints, and at historic landmarks where the music still breathes.
This experience is grounded in the idea of layers of place — where a community is best understood not through a single storyline but through the relationships between memory, sound, and lived experience.
This is not a guided tour. It is an open environment for navigating stories as they surface — an approach to place-based storytelling in the digital age.
This project is presented as a web-based immersive 360° environment, designed to explore the blues through spatial storytelling.
